In addition to Lesser Poland Workshops in Ultrasound (domestic courses in OB/GYN ultrasound in Polish language, experience of 32 courses held in Cracow) we managed trainings in ultrasound for medical professionals under:

We teach mainly modern techniques in ultrasound imaging, early anomaly assessment, evaluation of the fetal heart especially during the first trimester of pregnancy, and pelvic ultrasound. We have participated in more than sixty ultrasound courses as co-ordinators and trainers. Among other courses we conducted 14 trainings on 3D/4D/STIC ultrasound according to our original formula which was not based on the concept worked out by V.I.S.U.S. or any other international or local  school of ultrasound. We also developed a unique training strategy for fetal heart evaluation in the close co-operation with an experienced cardiosurgeon which, uses pattern recognition and synthetic learning techniques (experience of 8 courses).

We promote practical teching in OB/GYN ultrasound.
This input mainly resulted in:

  • A chapter on “The evaluation of the fetal heart using STIC technique” in international textbook of ultrasound entitled, 'DONALD SCHOOL TEXTBOOK OF ULTRASOUND IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY' ed. Kurjak A, Chervenak FA, 3rd edition Jaypee Brothers Publ., 2011.
  • We constantly work on publications mainly related to Screening for Aneuploidy; Early Anomaly Assessment, Early Fetal Echocardiography, and pattern recognition of fetal anomalies.
  • We have prepared the first standards in Poland and Europe for three-dimensional diagnostic ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology. It was a request from the Polish Ultrasound Society to the fourth edition of "Standards of ultrasound by Polish Ultrasound Society", Zamość, 2011.
  • We have developed an innovative concept of analysing a fetal heart in a first trimester of pregnancy in STIC procedure. The concept has gained recognition of General Electric specialists, its description was published by the company in the form of the White Paper.
  • A DVD release on the use of volumetric ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology "Introduction to the effective application of clinical diagnostic features." Volusonclub 2012.
  • We have issued didactic posters on Early Anatomy Evaluation at 11 to 14 weeks scan in co-operation with Holbex company (1500 copies in Polish).

  • We have issued didactic posters on 2nd Trimester Anomaly Scan in co-operation with Holbex company (1500 copies in Polish).

As a result of our interest in exploring ultrasound technology we were invited to participate in beta tests of new ultrasound devices. Owing to that, we are able to advise clinicians in the selection of ultrasound systems, transducers and applications.
